Alexandra E. Caulfield, Partner Alix joined Drummond & Drummond in May 1991 and became a partner in August 1998. She manages the team of commercial loan attorneys at the firm. Alix's practice focuses primarily on commercial loan transactions, representing many local and national financial institutions. Alix also represents individuals and businesses in commercial real estate transactions and more general corporate matters including the structuring of businesses and advising on mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she is an approved SBA 504 closing attorney in both Maine and Massachusetts. The SBA 504 program is a direct loan program of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Alix graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in 1979 with a BA in Economics. She graduated from the University of Maine School of Law with her Juris Doctorate in 1991, and is a respected member of the Bar in both Maine and Massachusetts. Alix is a member of the Cumberland County, Maine State and American Bar Associations as well as a member of the National Association of Development Companies, NADCO. Alix has two grown daughters and lives with her husband in Yarmouth, Maine.
